Meet the Owner:
To help you get to know the newest member of the WrapStyle family, we sat down with the owner of WrapStyle Karlovy Vary - Matěj Bečvář for an exclusive interview. Here are some insights that might be interesting for our customers:
Q: How long have you been working in the wrapping industry?
A: I’ve been working in the wrapping industry for two years, but my team includes guys who’ve been doing this for over a decade. Together, we strive to deliver the best results and provide top-notch service to our customers.
Q: What inspired you to join WrapStyle?
A: My decision to join WrapStyle was influenced by several factors. I have a passion for automotive design and aesthetics, and WrapStyle is known for its precision and creativity in car wrapping. The company’s culture and values, focused on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction, were also important to me. WrapStyle continually invests in development and offers me the opportunity for professional growth. This combination convinced me that WrapStyle was the right choice for me.
Q: What can customers expect from you? What services do you offer besides car wraps?
A: Besides top-quality car wraps, we offer protective films (PPF), ceramic coating, window tinting, interior films, paint polishing and restoration, detailed car cleaning, advertising wraps, and custom design and graphics.
Q: What’s the best project you remember working on?
A: One of the best projects I recall was a Mercedes Benz G. This challenging project earned us second place in a competition organized by 3M. The result was stunning and confirmed that our hard work and precision are recognized, motivating the whole team to keep pushing forward.
Q: Can you share a favorite story or memory from your career? Any funny mishaps?
A: One of my first jobs at WrapStyle was a true trial by fire. The customer wanted a super intricate design on their sports car, and I was determined to make it perfect. Everything went smoothly on the first day, but on the second day, something unexpected happened. While applying the wrap to the hood, I didn't realize my hoodie had a zipper on the sleeve. As I was smoothing the wrap, the zipper caught and made a small but very noticeable tear in the new film. I tried to fix it, but the damage was irreversible, so I had to own up to my mistake. Luckily, the customer took it in stride and appreciated my honesty. The team rallied together, and we rewrapped the car quickly. Although it was a stressful experience, I now look back on it with a smile and see it as a valuable lesson in precision, honesty, teamwork, and most importantly—hoodies without zippers! It strengthened the team and helped me grow.
Q: What is your vision, or is there something specific you want to achieve or develop?
A: Our vision is to become a global leader in automotive design and protection, known for our innovative approaches, outstanding service quality, and exceptional customer satisfaction. We aim not only to maintain the high standards we’ve already set but to continually raise the bar and push the boundaries of what’s possible in our field.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your work?
A: What I enjoy most about my work is the variety of aspects that together create a fulfilling and inspiring career. Cars, creativity and innovation, customer satisfaction, technology and progress, diversity, teamwork, personal and professional growth, and seeing the results right in front of you. Working at WrapStyle isn’t just a job, it’s a passion and a lifestyle.
Q: How do you spend your free time when you’re not working on cars?
A: Outside of working on cars, I enjoy playing sports and spending time with my family. Sports provide me with a great break from the hustle of work. Most of my free time, however, is dedicated to my beloved wife and family. We have two small children, and I spend every free moment with them. Time spent with my family is incredibly important to me and fills me with happiness.
Q: Do you have a dream car?
A: I’ve always had a soft spot for the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 9. I’ve always had a soft spot for the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 9. Its performance, striking design, and engineering fascinate me. It’s an iconic legend that can shine both on the racetrack and rugged, everyday roads.
